Long Beach, Calif., April 2nd–Producers of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show and the FastDates.com Calendars are excited to announce that top media partners will be joining longstanding title sponsor Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys to help expand this year’s show within the motorcycle industry. Thunder Press is pleased to join the Calendar Show as valued partners along with Barnett’s Bike Craft Magazine, Hot Bike, Hot Bike Baggers and Street Chopper magazines. The editors from each publication will be in attendance to cover the event, and will assist in judging their sponsored classes and choosing the top bikes to appear in their publications. Show producer Jim Gianatsis will be photographing the winning bikes to appear in the magazines and the next FastDates.com Calendars. In addition to the coveted Best of Show and class awards, AFT Customs will present its Visionary Award Trophy for the most innovative and exciting bike at the event.
The 2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continues its 22-year tradition with a return to the Queen Mary’s Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California, on Sunday, July 14th. Featured are the world’s top celebrity builders displaying their newest bikes and competing in the Calendar Bike Building Championship & Concours d’ Elegance together with selected industry manufacturers, vendors, plus calendar girl and musical live performances.
In recent years the Calendar Show has broadened its focus from the American V-Twin custom market to embrace the growing collector and café bike segments. The Show still includes its popular Pro Builder, Street Custom, Café Bike/Bobber and Sportbike/Racebike classes, and now the growing collector bike market for European and Japanese classics. Show Entries will be placed in a Concours d’Elegance-style displays on grass and patio walkways in the the Queen Mary’s Seawalk Village.
