Ridin’ with the Devils

In its search for another hit show about the motorcycling lifestyle,Discovery has come up with a reality show named “The Devils Ride.” The show, premiering May 8, promises to reveal the inner workings of the Laffing Devils MC, covering aspects of motorcycle club life such as prospecting, the conflicts caused by young bloods challenging the status quo, and the potential loss of their clubhouse. Will this new show be as successful as FX Networks’ “Sons of Anarchy?” Tune in every Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. EST/PST to find out.

Rolling Thunder Tribute Bike Build

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom, taking place at our nation’s capital in Washington, D.C. on May 27. To commemorate the occasion, four top-name bike builders will each build a tribute bike in honor of each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. The build project is being facilitated by Jay Allen of the Broken Spoke, and supported by S&S Cycle and Baker Drivetrain. Builders are “Kiwi” Mike Tomas of Kiwi Indian Motorcycle Company, Dar Holdsworth of Darwin Motorcycles, Brigitte Bourget of Bourget’s Bike Works and Billy Lane of Choppers Inc. (more…)

John Lehman, founder of Lehman Trikes, passes away

John K. Lehman, the 60-year-old founder of Lehman Trikes, passed away on

January 5 in Arizona. It is suspected that his untimely death was heart failure brought on by an embolism. John is survived by his wife Linda, his son Quinten, daughter Leann, three sisters—Gladys, Linda and Carol—and three grandchildren. (more…)
