Contoured to follow the curvature of abbreviated rear fenders on the Nightster, Forty-Eight, Iron 883, Dyna Wide Glide and any 2004– later Harley equipped with a Chopped Rear Fender Kit (and side-mounted license plate), the new Chopped Fender Edge Light is an LED lamp with the dual functions of running and brake light. The low-profile design accents the fender’s styling while providing ample illumination. Selling for $89.95, the Edge Light will not fit models with center-mounted license tags. See a Harley-Davidson dealer for details on fitment.

Don’t let Mom catch ya
Rubber-mount Harleys have long been susceptible to rear wheel steer and the instability it causes, and Rivera Primo has a fix for the problem in the form of a Stiffey. Seriously. The Stiffey is actually a pair of high-quality bushings that mount under each pillow block and onto the pivot shaft. The unit also comes with a set of shims that are model-specific. The Stiffey is an easy install using basic shop tools, although dropping the exhaust and removing the passenger floorboards is required. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and carries a price tag of $107.48—cheap insurance in preventing high-speed wobbles and keeping your bike where it belongs—on the road.

Within easy reach
Küryakyn’s original Boss Blades offered a wide, deep-dished pulling surface to aid in actuation, and now with their new Boss Blades with Adjustable Clutch Lever they’ve ratcheted up the comfort level by using a unique design that allows the clutch cable anchor point to be adjustable. A control knob on top of the clutch lever varies the anchor point incrementally, permitting the lever to be adjusted closer to the handgrip (up to 3/4″ at the tip) and providing an easier reach and pull. They fit all 1996–2011 H-D models with a cable-operated clutch (except ’04–’11 Sportsters and ’08–’11 Electra Glides, Road Glides, Road Kings, Street Glides and Trikes). And the price is within reach also, coming in at $69.99 for a pair.

An untarnished image
The girl was hot and dressed to kill, the evening crisp so she hugged you close, whispering in your ear as the bike ate up the asphalt. Yep, the date was perfect. Until the next morning, that is, when you discover melted rubber where those sexy stilettos rested against your high-dollar exhaust. Don’t dump the gal; turn to Kleen King instead. Developed by BoneHead Products (and manufactured by well-known Bon Ami), Kleen King is designed to remove boot marks, oil, road grime, bugs, tar and even melted-on litter from chrome pipes while they are hot. (The heat is part of the process.) It’s non-flammable and leaves no scratches. A 5.25-ounce tube will run you $9.99 and should get you through an entire riding season of new girlfriends.

Digital defense
Although Kemco Manufacturing started as a company specializing in jigs and fixtures, the owners’ outside interests in motorcycling have recently led to several bike-related inventions, their latest being these Handy Guards. Made from 16-gauge steel with a double powder-coat finish to match the matte black of stock Harley control perches, they are just large enough to protect from the cold and road debris without detracting from your bike’s appearance. They mount using the existing mirror studs and nuts and fit most Harleys (except Sportsters). They sell for $49.95 per set.

Cool tool
Coming to the aid of owners of late-model baggers and Dynas, the new JIMS Dipstick Socket No. 759 allows the quick and burn-free removal of the engine oil dipsticks that reside dangerously close to the rear exhaust pipe. It’s constructed from Delrin, a polyacetal thermoplastic with a high degree of stiffness and excellent dimensional stability, making it ideally suited for use in this product. It features a 3/8″ square hole for a ratchet attachment and a 7/8″ hex for a socket or wrench fitment. It also has a cutout that allows for clearance around the exhaust. Backed by a lifetime warranty, it carries a MSRP of $25.75 and is designed for ’07–present Harley FL and ’06 to present FXD models with factory installed level indicators.

While many of us feel quite dapper when we happen to find a pair of matching socks, the Harley-Davidson MotorClothes division is soliciting those desiring honest function, style and versatility. Their new Flames Biker’s Dozen 12-in-1 Jacket fulfills all three. The top fabric is a black 100-percent cotton ripstop that reverses to a gray ripstop. But it also features a removable hood and sleeves, both of which are reversible, making for 12 unique modes of chic. Retailing for $195, the jacket features two zippered hand-warmer pockets, rib-knit cuffs and waistband and Motor Company insignias. It comes in S–5XL and Tall sizes.
