PHOTO GALLERY: Mama Tried Motorcycle Show

MILWAUKEE, WIS., FEB. 22—The inaugural Mama Tried Motorcycle Show was the brainchild of Milwaukeeans Scott Johnson of the Fuel Café and Warren Heir Jr. of JR’s Cycle Products. The duo aimed to deliver an invitation-only bike show featuring an eclectic mixture of motorcycles not often seen by the general public. Fueled by the rich Milwaukee motorcycle-racing culture, on display was an awesome blend of purpose-built race bikes including café racers, board- and dirt-track bikes, hill climbers, ice racers, TT bikes and drag bikes, as well as some fine examples of vintage 50’s and 60’s choppers and bobbers.

**Be sure to pick up a copy of the April issues of Thunder Press for the full feature on the inaugural Mama Tried Motorcycle Show. There’s also a killer sidebar story on the impromptu ice-racing antics that took place the following day on a frozen Lake Michigan with downtown Milwaukee serving as a backdrop!
